PACT launches new service to help producers of digital content

production: (cc) by philcampbell/flickr(cc) by philcampbell/flickrUK Producers representative body PACT has launched a new service to help their members navigate the production and delivery of digital media content. The new area of the Pact website offers new legal assistance services, contract templates for talent involvement and advice for production companies, as well as encouragement for them to dip into these new areas. It has also begun the process of negotiating with online content commissioners (including MySpace and Bebo) to clarify the rights situation, in a similar way to its negotiations with broadcasters over the Terms of Trade.
